Ami is a warm and engaging psychologist who works with adults, adolescents and children. She has a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Ami has experience in a variety of clinical settings including the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Women’s Hospital, and private practice. Ami draws upon Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and self-compassion techniques. She is interested in working with a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, somatisation, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and more. Ami aims to work collaboratively with clients to explore the root of their emotional suffering, with the goal of self-understanding and long-term change.
