Being human is both beautiful and complex. Life presents us with challenges, losses, and uncertainties that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves and others. We all have a unique story, and many of us have developed ways of coping that may have helped us through difficult circumstances but no longer serve us in the present. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand these patterns, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

I work collaboratively with individuals to understand the emotional challenges they are facing and the patterns that may be contributing to their distress. Through thoughtful exploration and reflection, we can begin to uncover longstanding ways of thinking, feeling, and relating that may be keeping you stuck. By getting to the root of these difficulties, therapy can create the conditions for meaningful and lasting change.

In therapy, I bring a curious, compassionate, and open-minded presence. I strive to balance warmth with honesty, creating a space that feels safe enough for exploration while supporting genuine growth and self-understanding.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic, relational, and emotion-focused frameworks, with a particular emphasis on Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). This approach focuses on increasing self-awareness, deepening emotional understanding, and addressing the underlying causes of psychological distress. Together, we work to identify and move beyond longstanding patterns, resolve internal conflicts, and foster greater emotional freedom and resilience at a pace that feels both supportive and empowering.

Above all, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to the healing process. I am committed to cultivating a collaborative and trusting relationship built on safety, empathy, and respect, where you feel genuinely understood and supported in creating meaningful change.
