Older Adult Mental Health

Here at PsychologyCare we have a special interest in working with people over the age of 65 years. This stage of life is often neglected in the annals of psychological research and literature, which is a mistake as there are many common challenges that face us all as we age. A well-respected Rabbi once said: “Ageing takes courage.” There is so much truth in this statement and as a consequence, there exist a small number of psychologists who specialise in treating age-associated mental health issues. We have a shared aim of helping people in later life and their families maintain well-being, overcome problems and achieve maximum potential throughout their later years.
