Rebekah Barson

She/ Her

Rebekah is a Mental Health Social Worker who has been working in both the public and private health sector since early 2004. With additional training in Relationship Counselling (Relationships Australia), Psychotherapy (VAPP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rebekah provides a therapeutic space that is safe, supportive, and
collaborative.

Rebekah works primarily with couples or individuals who are having trouble with, or are seeking to build and strengthen their relationships. Rebekah looks to understand the patterns and dynamics that are causing challenges or inhibiting connections, as well as helping people move through transitions and interpersonal issues.

Through the process of therapy, clients have the opportunity to develop a deeper ability for reflection, a greater sense of self and partner awareness, and to identify issues, towards creating meaning, connection and wellbeing.

Now Accepting New Clients

Finding the right therapist is crucial to your therapeutic journey. At PsychologyCare, our intake process is meticulously designed to ensure you are paired with a therapist who perfectly matches your needs.

We recommend scheduling a Free 15-minute intake appointment with our Intake Team. During this session, we’ll get to know you better, understand your reasons for seeking support, and discuss your preferences. This personalized approach allows us to suggest the most suitable therapist for your unique needs, ensuring you receive the best possible care.
